From "which one?" to the cart
The shopper asks, friends vote, the winner goes in the cart.
A theme app block under Add to cart, or a floating button. Shoppers pick 2 to 4 options: colours or sizes of the product they're on, products they looked at earlier, or anything from your store search.
Friends open yourstore.com/apps/vote/… with your header, cart and fonts. Titles, images and prices come live from your store in the voter's currency. One tap to vote, no sign-up.
Share buttons for WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS, X and the phone's share sheet. Link previews get their own title ("Help Sam choose: A or B?"), the shopper's question and a 1200×630 image.
The shopper's private results link shows live votes and the winner. One tap adds it to the cart with a _mint_vote line property and opens your theme's cart.
Questions and names are checked for links, contact details and listed words (add your own). One vote per device, limits per connection and per store, signed requests, and no IP addresses stored.

Questions merchants ask
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. One click opens the theme editor with the block ready on your product template; click Save. Or switch on the floating button (an app embed). The vote page is rendered by Shopify inside your theme.
What do friends see?
A page on your store with the options (image, title, variant and live price), a question if the shopper asked one, and one button per option. After voting they see how the votes stand and links to each product.
How do you stop spam and fake votes?
Every request is signed by Shopify. A device can vote once per poll; a connection only a few times per poll; polls and votes are rate-limited per connection, device and store; each poll takes at most 500 votes. Questions and names can't contain links, emails, @handles, phone numbers or blocked words, and you can delete any poll.
What happens after 10 polls on the Free plan?
The button hides until the 1st of the next month (UTC). Polls that already exist keep working for voters and for the shopper's results. Nothing is charged automatically. Pro allows 300 polls a month and Plus has no monthly limit.
What do you store?
The poll's product IDs, the optional question and first name the shopper typed, and the votes, with devices and connections kept only as one-way hashes. No customer accounts, emails or IP addresses. Polls are deleted 30 days after they close.
Can I use it in another language?
Yes. Every text shoppers and their friends see is editable in Settings.
